ACC FAQ

  • What is the Architectural Control Committee (ACC)? The ACC is a group of your volunteer neighbors that review requests to make exterior improvements, alterations, or changes to your home or Lot. They review the written applications, make site visits prior and during construction, and work with the Board of Directors regarding violations. Back to top
  • Why is it necessary to have an ACC? We all want our neighborhood to be the very best it can be. The ACC helps achieve this goal by ensuring all residents follow basic guidelines set forth in our Covenants. These guidelines work to keep our community beautiful and to keep housing prices on the rise. For example, would you want to live next door to a hot pink polka-dotted house with lime green shutters and large statues in the front yard? Probably not. Would you like to live next to a house with grass 12-inches high and mounds of trash? Again, probably not. The ACC protects your eyes as well as your property values. Back to top
  • When is it necessary to make an application to the ACC? You must apply for any exterior improvements, alterations, or changes to your home or Lot prior to starting any work. You must receive approval from the ACC before starting any work. This process ensures our covenants are enforced fairly and accurately. Without an ACC, you may end up living next to that hot pink polka-dotted house with lime green shutters and large statues in the front yard. Back to top
